In December 2013, IAPO held a series of meetings in New Delhi, India, that brought together patients' organizations in South-East Asia to identify common healthcare challenges and enhance cross-disease collaboration towards achieving patient-centred healthcare.  

This was IAPO’s first meeting in the region and brought together patient representatives from across South-East Asia for a programme of events including a regional capacity building workshop, a meeting for local patient groups and a multi-stakeholder seminar.
